From June 21 - 22 Magnum photographers will be at The Photographers’ Gallery to review portfolios as part of First Impressions. The deadline for registration is this Friday, May 29th (and it is first come, first serve), so if you are keen to have your work reviewed by 3 Magnum photographers, get in there and good luck!

It looks like this weekend is going to be quite miserable in terms of weather, so what better way to spend the day browsing for cameras and other interesting gear?
Photographica Fair is the United Kingdom’s largest photographic collectors fair and is organized by a separate sub-committee of the Photographic Collectors Club of Great Britain. Having grown from small beginnings a typical Photographica will have around 200 tables offering everything from daguerreotypes and images, to brass and mahogany field cameras and Leica, through to old and new photographic books, collectible photographic accessories and supplies and tools for restoration. Photographica is international in its stallholders and attendees.
It’s being held this Sunday in Victoria between 10am and 4.30pm. More information can be found on their website.

Another month, another list of photography exhibitions in London. From historic shots from Cambodia and the Soviet Union, to odes to influential people (Martin Amis, Audrey Hepburn) and a spotlight on the currently so celebrated poets: a nice mix of things and hopefully something in there that suits you.
