While surfing around the web today I found out about another few interesting events this month that could make a great photo opportunity.

Thames Festival - 13 & 14 September
A celebration of London and its river. Taking place Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge, the festival brings  dance, sculptures, music, movies, eating and theatre to the river banks. On Sunday night there is a night carnival parade and a fireworks display. More info here.

London Open House - 20 & 21 September
Nearly 700 buildings, new and old, open their doors to visitors. Many are usually closed to the public, but this weekend you can go in for free. Some highlights include the Lloyd’s Building, Bank of England, Brixton Windmill and Canada House. More info here.

Gorilla Run - 27 September
Gorillas running through London? Well, on the 27th there will be a 1000 people dressed up as gorillas running to raise money for charity. The route goes through the City and along the Thames, so that should make a good backdrop for a few crazy shots. More info here.
