I must admit I am a huge fan of the look of HDR photos although I yet to try it myself.  I think I may need to make some time to play around with it soon though. There are a lot of tutorials out there on how to create HDR photos including this one from abduzeedo.com. Of course there are always ways to “cheat” the effect as well. Have you dabbled with HDR photos? Any tips?

Spring finally seems to be upon us! Apart from the usual list of exhibitions there is also the notable event of the Olympic torch passing through London next weekend. Should be pretty unique and due to it’s controversy you might even see some protests along the way.

So, I’ve made a few site improvements today and wanted to share them with everyone.

1. First and foremost there is a mailing list you can now subscribe to. On the right hand side you will see an area to enter your email address. This mailing list will be used to send reminders of meet ups. You can request to be removed from the list at any time and of course we won’t share your email address with any third-parties, so no worries there.

2. There is now an option to be notified of comments for an entry. If there is a discussion going on in the comments that you are interested in following, simply check the “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” option.

3. For every individual post there is an option to bookmark the post via Digg, Delicious, Stumble Upon and so forth. This is an easy way for you to bookmark the entries, but also to spread the word about any entries that may be of interest to others. That whole social thing.

4. Recent comments are now being pulled in in the right column. This is mostly to help us keep conversations going on interesting topics.
