Adobe Yanks Lightroom 1.4 & Camera Raw 4.4
A heads up to anyone using Adobe Lightroom and/or Camera Raw:
The Lightroom 1.4 update for Mac and Windows has been temporarily removed from the Adobe.com web site. Those Lightroom users who have installed Lightroom 1.4 should uninstall the update and install Lightroom 1.3.1.(Mac, Win) until a further update can be provided. (Source/Read more: PhotoshopNews.com)

Is it worth mentioning that Aperture 2.0 is now released and available for trial. Its no photoshop, but its an improvement on the previous version.

Ah-ha! Good to know. Thanks for the heads-up. I haven’t used Aperture actually. I wonder what the pros and cons are to it? I should try it out.

Also good to know that Aperture is now £129 for version 2.0 instead of £200.
If it ran on my 12 inch G4 Powerbook I’d get a copy
